<DATA1>An International conference on obesity held on Sunday, in this conference experts said that obesity is crushing our health system around the world with diseases such as heart disease and diabetes.</DATA1>
<DATA2>According to the World Health Organization billion of adults are overweight and 300 million are facing the problems of obesity and all of this part of population have a high risk of diabetes, heart problems, high blood pressure and some types of cancers.</DATA2>
<DATA3>Experts said that the people of rich countries get lead in overeating and they do not do much physical activity but the people of poorer nations of Asia, Africa and Latin America adopt bad habits very quickly.</DATA3>
<DATA4>Dr. Philip James who is the British chairman of the International Obesity Task Force said that we are not dealing with a scientific or medical problem. We are dealing with an enormous economic problem that, it is already accepted, is going to destroy every medical system in the world.</DATA4>
<DATA5>According to James, cost invested on treatment of obesity related health problems is immeasurable on a global scale but the group estimated it at billions of dollars per year in Australia, Britain and the United States.</DATA5>
<DATA6>In the conference experts said that government should ban junk food advertising aimed at children, such restrictions are not likely occur soon because the food industry would lobby hard against them. Dr. Boyd Swinburn who is a member of the task force said there is going to be political bun fight over this for some time, but of course we should not advertise junk food to children that makes them fat.</DATA6>
